i acyually thought of going with an AMD CPU and MoBo but the only oen that i like is 700+ and thats just a tad to much out of my price range.

i talking about the FX 51 when i mentioned the 700 dollar CPU for those of you who didn;t know other then that i wasn't that intrigued by AMD's CPU's. comparing the 2400 and 2.4 P4 is like comparing a slightly weaker P4 2.4 counterpart to a true 2.4.

I think I would take the +150 dollars.
i knwo its unfair to compare them but thats really the only AMD chip i was interested but like i said they are expensive plus i wasn't really comparing them.
Im not have as smart as all of you when it comes to hardware but why not the amb64 and not the 64 fx chip. the AMD 64 still beat the Intel P-4 3.2 chip without overclocking and its like US $300.00 cheaper...
