u can use angelfire, just don't make ur pages end in .html
they'll still work, but no ads :)
Web1000 is good no banners FTP access etc etc ive had no problems with it however it doesnt offer scripting support
Web1000 also directs non-USA traffic to a 404 site when it feels like it.
I used those shitty free sites for so long. I finally got a domain. Trust me, it's worth it.
