ghetto_gurl, it's just the theme. Okay, right-click on the desktop, and select properties. Then, go to appearance, and you cna change it to whatever you want. Classic Windows has more color themes though, and it doesn't slow down your computer.

I had a simalar problem with my computer and it could not be fixed!
Check with our IT guys at work and nothin :01:
Wrote a e-mail to microsoft and it came back with re-install windows :angry:
Sorry for the upsetting news but I dont think you will be able to just fix it with out re-installing XP :frusty:
