Why not just set computer to boot from cdrom install that way?
i can't do that since this will come up again
stop:c000021 unknown hard error
\systemroot\system32\ntdll.dll
Is there anything that explains how to resolve this?
And this has only happened since you used PM on it? Sounds like it borked the tables there. I guess thats one way to stop piracy - make pirated copies kill their owners hardware. :)
Anyway, my advice would be to grab a windows 98 boot disk with fdisk and start from scratch. wipe all partition data from your primary, then rebuild the partition table using fdisk. Not as easy as PM, but it'll get the job done.
WARNING : Using fdisk *will* result in the loss of any and all data stored on that hard disk. Yes, everything. That includes the six gigs of pr0n you've been hiding from your wife/girlfriend/mom/second-cousin-twice-removed-three-times-reinstated-and-once-beheaded.
So, you might want to use "partition commander" instead. :P
Alright ill give it a try.
Thanks
sounds like PM8 screwed up your Fat Table. You will have to fdisk the drive, maybe even do a low level format and then reinstall the operating system.
Damn it this sucks!!!
I did the fdisk thing, and made is so it boot from the cd but in the boot up screen it only says- Boot from cd and it dosen't boot at all, it just gets stuck.
Wtf is happening!!
Anybody got a solution, please windows 98 is getting on my nerves!!!
It gets stuck every 10 minutes!!!
