can you store your computer somewhere further away from you?
under a desk or something like that...
it is under a desk it's right by my knee
Shit,I couldn't even hear it threw my earphones over all the racket from my PC .I wouldn't worry too much about it man.I been listening to mine for 6 months now and I can hardly hear it anymore. You just sort of stop hearing it after a while.
Ya, no pc loud when you got music running mate ;)
Try a volcano 12 @ 5500rpm (48db) now thats loud!
Where exactly are your fans? You have just one on the bottom and your temp droped 10C? Or do you have more? And do you just have it sitting on the bottom of your case?
Where "in the bottom of the case"?Quote:

I was hoping to cut my pc noise by replacing the case fan but... it was still loud as hell so I think meh it's still loud so i put my old fan at the bottome of the case for kicks.
So now lets look at the pro/cons
Pro: Temperature dropped 10 degrees C
Con: Sounds like a hair dryer
So should i only use one case fan like I did before?
The floor?
The lower front wall?
A ten degree drop is an extrordinary improvement...well worth keeping if you can solve the sound issue.
ofcourse the inside bottom of the case
Do you have an exhaust fan at top? Or do you just have the fan on the bottom of the case blowing up...taking 10C off?
ok i took off the bottom fan and the noise is still the same stupid fan i'm gonna go get a refund
