SLAX 3.0.25-2 doesn't handle some floppy drives properly, and it hangs for a long time (from 30 seconds to 10 minutes) waiting for the response from floppy. The only way how to speed up the booting is to insert empty floppy medium to the drive.
I've tried mtools but nothing seems to work.
I have one computer available (compaq w2k server) which does this, so I can experiment with it. I think that it's a hardware problem.
I will try to fix it, but if I wouldn't be able to do so then I will be forced to remove floppy automounting (and autorestoring settings from it).
