I have to say I laughed my socks off. This is on par with Captain Pugwash (although I believe that the dodgy character names are refuted).
If they really wrote this I can only assume they were insane, too innocent to walk this Earth or looking to get fired.
With regard to this one, the video is real with the real people. However I cannot confirm whether it was broadcast. I believe that a lot of the actors from children's TV like this used to make these after they were finished for the day. Just for a laugh.
I don't know whether this one was a private joke, or broadcast. I think the former is the more likely. I'd love to think the latter. It's funny as feck either way.

Yeah, I saw something about this video on a TV show not so long ago. It was never broadcast and was just a "let's fuck around while nobody's looking" kinda thing. The video was kept in storage till it surfaced on afformentioned TV show.
