4thgen, thanks for answering my noob question lol- i don't know why but i've assumed that for soulseek for a while
soulseek is great for less mainstream music- i couldn't find ginger snaps by dean wareham and britta phillips anywhere but soulseek

That's what Sygate & Norton are for. Same goes for IP blockers.
