I told you not long ago that 250 Watts wasn't enough for an Athlon XP 2800+ system and all the other components you have.

get a new power supply.

i think you visted a webpage with errors on it, like i said before..... :frusty:
you may not have an adequate PSU, but that (i believe) has nothing to do with the error you are getting.

should i get one with a case or just on its own?

could u show me a good one from ebuyer please i dont know any thing about em :unsure:

get with a case if u need a new case.

get atleast 400watts.

dont get a cheap one, usually they dont last too long. get a medium priced one.

in general, the PSU's that come with cases are not real good. if you spend between 50-60 bucks on a 300 watt or better, it should be fine.

But check to be sure that the new power supply can fit into your case. I have seen some of those HP computers that don't use standard formats.

And before you buy a new case, check to be sure the HP motherboard will fit into a standard ATX case.
