I love stuff like Dado, Anaki and Yamamoto though. Yellow Contemporary Girls is one of the nicest collections I have ever seen. I'm more into the whole snap shot photography though, Nan Goldin, Diane Arbus. Maplethorpe to a certain extent. As for painting I don't really like the modern stuff.
I can appreciate Pollock because of the way he uses his materials but that's about as far as it goes. I just love Romantic paintings, especially Caspar David Friedrich ( the lonely man on the mountain is just fantastic and so revolutionary for its time!)
