Another New Soulseek Test

;) Same Bug that Rock got.Damn SS done fucked me all up.I hate it now!I hate the People that Cheat by Downloading off their self to get their Speed higher.And now I am one of them.I am no better.

Once SS gets all these fucking Bugs fixed I might be back.But there are just too many Problems right now.

I can never use my Name ever again.

I know it is my fault for useing a Beta.Not blameing nobody else.I should have known better.

Does anyone really even give a flyin fook what the speed says - it's all relative anyhow. To leave soulseek over that - c'mon, for real?

Just go back to 153 or 152.....believe me, the speed will start dropping soon enough.

Cannot use your user name again? Dude, nobody even cares what it says in the K/sec column......it would be a huge shame and loss if you actually stopped using the prog because of a bug.

Someone else please tell FC that it's not really important what the speed says.............

Damn, I could go on and on here.....but for what......just forgetaboutit and get your @ss back there.

So, I'm confused... I installed the new test build, 154i (think that's it).. looks just like the last one... however the ticker no longer scrolls smoothly... its seems to 'stop and go', kinda freezing up... anyone else having a similar problem? I have to admit, I do like the new fast hashing for the file indexing.. kinda neat actually watching it index them.. :music1:

• Select per folder if you wanna share it userlist only or with everybody
• You can see whos browsing you and when your files show up in a search
• You can upload files to users that are on your "upload permission list"
• You can see the encoders used
• Timestamps in PM
• Usernotes
• Roomsearch
• Userlist search
• In a search users that gone offline show red

......... probably something I forgot.


The ticker is meant that way, dont know why though...

I hope they include an option in the future "Do not share hidden files". I'm sharing desktop.ini and all the Album Art WMP automaticall DLs. Nobody wants this crap...

Great recap Linda.......there is also the all-important and much appreciated "Stop Search" button..........about time!

AS far as the Ticker goes.....I turn the stupid thing off - solves all the problems associated with it.

Other than that - just a few little things have been added or improved on......so - get youre @ss over there Jibbler!

You can always go back to an earlier version that worked well.

The FAQ page says vers 152 or later is mandatory but I'm using vers 149c with no problems. :)

Screw all the new features - I just wanna share files.
