here when u do get a DVD burner look for a DVD±RW drive
<s>mist</s> must have the ± tag. that means that it can burn both -R(W)s and +R(W)s
DVD-Ram is outdated and unless u have a really good use for it dont get it. if u do intend on getting it, u are looking for a burner that supports DVD-Multi (as in, can burn -Rs, -RWs, and -RAMs) and make sure that it does +R(W)s as well)

dvd-ram is not outdated its the new standard , and is above +-rw
