i hate to say this, but writing zeros to the drive helps because it clears any values set by norton. i can reinstall my comp, and norton thinks my subscription ends 1 year from the date i reinstall. (because all markers are erased from my comp) beats me, but it works :)
it does after reformatting - is that what you mean?

nope it was inckluded with the norton internet security which has norton firewall but i doubt that will not let it connect
