No, no conflicts I presume when you press the plus sign if there was more than one item that would represent a conflict?
As I said it is intermitent, without using and different hardware or seemingly software, could it be anything to do with the telephone line, as i unplug it it goes away, yet i dont see how the line could affect the mouse?
Rosco I appreciate your help but I have already done so several times with different programs such as the one u mentioned and spy sweeper without any luck
Liam have you tryed a different mouse ?

Yes originally it was a wireless one and I thought that was the problem, so I changed it with the same results. as I said it has been like this since the day i bought the computer, i probably should have took it back but its more an inconveniance, an annoyance than worth losing the computer for a couple of weeks. and spend 35 pounds to send it off.Quote:
