Starting A New Website

My first and favorite editor is 1st Page 2000, but it would be a good idea to learn how to use Dreamweaver.

lol.. what a bump.. over half a year old.. :lol: amazing what people will dig up to get some posts :lol:

nah, building a web site in VI editor in a Linux shell is probably the most hardcore...although I've actually piped lines one by one from commandline into index.html before heh!

What is VI Editor?

http://www.vim.org/ is vi improved it a editor for the linux shell. should i mention emacs as well.

I still like using just a simple text editor with syntax highlighting so notepad2 or editplus 2 suit me fine.

I use dreamweaver although the use of tables is ridiculous

photoshop ur design, slice it, edit in dreamweaver ;?

There are lots more web creation programs than mentioned here. What are they like eg Coffee cup ?
