What Do You Consider To Be "under-age"?

Surely the term "under-age" is self explanatory. In the UK under-age is 16.

However, at 47 I would consider myself fortunate if a youngster of 35 gave me a second look. :lol:

I do recall (vaguely) being 20. It was disconcerting to meet someone at a disco all dolled up and looking 18 only to find out that they were 14 and had blagged their way into the disco to dance and drink.

My daughter refers to some of her teachers in a similar way. The idea of teaching a pile of teenagers is horrifying. I considered teaching after university many years ago - until I discovered that all schools had at least some pupils. :ph34r:

Look at it this way

why would you want to look at teenage girls? because they try so hard to look good?
and because of their efforts, they seem quite attractive?

I have reached a point in my life where it is surely the case that, if I don't look, I may never see it/her/him/them again.

In the past, I tried not looking at my step-daughter (she is a very nice-looking young lady).

She told my wife she thought I didn't like her.

I have heard similar things from young people; they think we look past, over, around, or through them; I have decided to look, whenever and wherever I can.

It's fascinating!

Some of the 16 year olds go to so much time and trouble to stand out and be noticed, it&#39;s a shame not to... :P

I don&#39;t see any harm in looking when the opportunity presents itself.. It&#39;s when you actively go out of your way to look, that&#39;s wrong... i.e. hanging around outside youth clubs, etc.

2 years younger than me is the limit :)

the problem is as gemby pointed out when theyre about 9

I see no problem with looking. Now if you do it to the extent of the person feeling uncomfortable, then you may face sexual harrassment charges. But looking should never be a problem.

I do however think that when you are a teacher, you need to be a bit more careful in the looking. Although personally, I don&#39;t think I could be a highschool teacher. I&#39;d never get any work done :P
