This is because most of the activities that our customers use the Internet for, such as reading emails, downloading software, surfing the web require a high downstream speed but do not require a high upstream speed.
Due to this we have concentrated on the section of the service that will make most impact to you as a customer. This means that you will benefit from faster downloads of music and software and higher quality videos online.
The upstream speed will therefore remain at the same levels
– 64K for 300K service
– 128K for the 750K service
– 256K for the 1.5Mb service
