Ok E is not Extreme Edition. EE is extreme edition. E means it is PRESCOTT, C means it is Northwood.

well someone took that the wrong way....ross has given an answer to every Q and been right except this time...calm down n18, it only a forum
i am not sure if i am Prescot or Northwood i think Northwood
EDIT:
Yes i am on Northwood. But i got 16x200 so if i go to my bios and change frequency i could get more. How come my BIOS has not blocked me from overclocking my Intel.
I did flash upgrade bios a while ago maybe that has something to do with it.
I've been wrong A LOT more than once. ;)Quote:

I havnt really seen any real answers...lol, but if you have a 3.2Ghz chip then that should be fine. Overclocking is just making a processor run faster then it was originally made to.
Northwood and Prescotts are different cores for Pentium 4 CPUs. The Northwoods are better untill you reach the 3.4Ghz mark, in which the Prescott is faster.
