emule has pretty much the same interface and use as kazaa.
For bittorent,look at the bittorent forum on this board and read the guide on how to use it.
I suggest dl'ing abc client for bittorent and then go to as ite like reactor.net]torrentreactor.net.
You'll find links there to movies,apps,music,software...click the link,and te dl starts ;)
Both emule and bittorent are easy to use,although it might look complicated at first.

Ok I tried emule and it was ok but.. I'm encountering the same problem
my download speed is 1 kb/s or less.. what could be hampering me so much? I have no problem downloading installers and such off the net

That's how emule works ;)
Your speed depends on how much and how fast you upload to other people.
It's a way to get rid of leechers.
If you want speeds ,get bittorent :)
