I'll be getting one of those in the next week, fed up of encoding everything. It seems they are difficult to get in the UK, well the UK equivalent that is, plus they are £90 (~ $165)
Do you know of anywhere that will ship here? Even with the shipping it's bound to be a big saving.
Re: download divx movies?

Don't forget you'll have to convert to 110 volts too.

No wonder I wasn't getting any answers. I hadn't considered that, cheers lynx
I guess I'll pick one up in Argos the next time I'm there - I need some new bling anyway.
Re: download divx movies?
110? Not 240v?
Just had a look, cheapest one at Argos is 60 quid.
Re: download divx movies?
Argos in the UK now stock two models that play DivX, which probably means they play XViD too.
Phillips

Goodmans

Amazon.co.uk do a couple of models (search for divx):

Re: download divx movies?
Thanks for that, much :D
I probably will buy the one in Argos but it is always good to have a look around so I do appreciate the links. Btw, I thought DivX and XviD were exactly the same, just written differently to appear 1337. Not so?
Re: download divx movies?
I have a Philips as well, great unit and cheaply bought lacally at $69, what a deal...

Xvid is different, it's supposed to be better quality - size wise I think...
They don't get points for originality though.
Re: download divx movies?
I've just bought a Yamada 6600 since it didn't require me moving (or thinking)
Thanks, JP. Also to everyone else who posted advice :D
Hi-De-Hi.
