The patch makes you able to play online through Windows Xp SP2 bu copies cannot be played online and increases the curser speed. Hardly worth patching.
Alright well whatever. I turned everything up except for the aliasing. Aliasing seems to be a big problem for my graphics card. I've had to do this for alot of games.
New games proberly process the AA and AF in a different way so that your drivers arnt working right. Try updating drivers if possible.
