nah. it'll never happen. competitive mode is called "pvp" (player vs player) in the mmorpg world, but only a small percentage of mmorpg players choose pvp because mmorpg-ers are basically the biggest wusses in the world. i.e. a lot of 'em subscribe to the game just to hang out & chat, rather than kick ass. most of 'em would be crying, if they were forced to fight against other players. :P
