i only think it was a zx cos you always hear people say zx spectrum. it had a seperate tape-deck anyway
first pc: pentium 133mhz, 16mb ram, 1gb hard-disc, windows 95.
we thought pc's just couldn't get better when it OC'd to 166 and we got 32mb ram, which in those days cost an arm and a leg
I think I actually might have had an amiga 600hd first, and then a C64.
I shared the Amiga tho', and I still have that in my closet, tho' I can't get it to work.
I had access to plenty of computers at work, and I could play games on them etc, so I didn't bother to get my own until PCs were worth having and were affordable.
My first PC was a 16MHz 386 with 8MB ram I think. It had a 40MB hdd, but that soon became full. Hard drive sizes were fixed on that pc so I had to modify the bios myself to make it accept a 320MB drive.
Actually, there was a motherboard fault which didn't affect what I wanted the pc for so I got the base unit free (they would have been scrapped otherwise) as long as I paid for the monitor and keyboard. I bought the cheapest monitor I could, a 14" single resolution job, but somehow a 15" multi-resolution monitor arrived at my house. I can't understand how that happened, I never made mistakes in the stock room. :whistling
