Leaked EA Press Release Dates Xbox 2

anyone have any information on the xbox2? or some page with info on it? i havent heard anything about it and it's going to get released later this year?

Yes this year, but theres no info. Just a patent that looks like it may be for the xbox 2.

EA doesnt own XBOX does it? I thought microsoft made it....

Am I missing something? microsoft has made it well known that it would be out towards the end of 2005... They even said it themselfs quit awhile ago I saw it on gamespot and in one of my EGM's and ps3 and nin rev early to mid 2006. This really is not leaked news.

EA makes games, if they have an Xbox 2 title shipping for November what are the chances the XBox 2 will be out by then so people can play the game :rolleyes:

Halo 3 will be one of the launch titles for Xbox 2 as far as I am concerned.

MS was shooting for the end of 2005. These news is more like a confirmation.

i wouldn't call it confirmation, more EA's gold date as to get it out for the earliest possible date

Xbox Next not being backwards compatible is utterly boneheaded.

It's one of the main reasons the PS2 was successful.

It Microsoft is also nixing the HD which was another Xbox plus.

The main thing going for the Xbox Next is that it's coming out before the PS3 and maybe the Revolution.

Not sure about backwards compatiblity.

The xbox will have 3 versions. One without a hard drive, probly just use memory sticks and will be cheaper. (suppose to be $400) The second will have a hard drive. (suppose to be $500) The third will be Xbox PC, witch will be a PC that can play xbox games :)

Earlyer launch isnt a good thing. Its cool that they are luanching first, but like the ps2 it will have fault first and the most. :wacko:
