EDit. I should prolly add that you can't buy it anymore, but that the copy I got had been sitting in someone's desk for years after having been used once.

To pre-empt any attempts to point out that the original can't be bought any more.

You dont need to install 98. Right-click > Properties > Compatability tab > change the mode to Windows 98/Windows ME.

Doesn't always work, sorry.

Sometimes you need win98, or something even older.

Cool, I've got everything since win95 at home, most of it originals. :01:
Is that DVD bootable tho'? 'cos it'd be pretty sweet to be able to install whatever I wanted without having to go through three discs+linux (they all seem to be in different places when you need them) everytime I wanted to set up a system like the one I'm running now.



Since the poster above posted Lufia, which isn't really a traditional puzzler but more of an RPG, I might as well recommend the resident evil titles, especially the first one, or better yet the director's cut of the first one, offers puzzles alongside some nice horror-flick-style action.

Otherwise the monkey Island titles, as well as the discworld ones, are both funny and interesting, and more traditional.

And then there's bladerunner, tho' it looks pretty dated alongside CSI.

Zork: Grand Inquisitor looks good. Anybody got an eMule d/l link?

Yuppers totally bootable, you boot it and it shows a nice little graphics picture with a small menu, you push 1 for Dos, 2 for Windows 3.1, 3 for 95, 4 for 98, 5 for ME, 6 for 2000, 7 for XP and 8 for 2003. Im not sure with the others but when i pushed 7 for Xp it took me to another menu where i could install Home, Pro or Corp, and i know it has Standard Server, Professional Server and Corp Server for 2003. A nice handy tool, it also has one or two other things as well in which you push 9 and it gives you a few partion tools. Theres a second dvd which im getting right now which contains a few versions of windows iv never run/heard of, some nice tools, ever version of Dos. I can't wait to boot up Windows 1.0 :01:
