Me bank actually phoned me at home and asked me to identify meself by providing a password. It really was them.
I said something like "you phoned me, arse, why would I identify myself". I kindly added that this was just the kind of stupidity that encouraged the hard of thinking to give out their details. I then bade them farewell and discontinued the conversation.
I know it was really them because the Manager wrote and apologised.
A credit card company did the same to me on Thursday. Asked for personal 'Identification Word' and my card number. :lol:Quote:
