I guess I'm an idiot
I uninstalled 1.01 and installed 1.0.2
my extensions are there but most of them dont work!
Itled 1.0.2 yesterday and ow I have both 1.01 and 1.0.2 in my list of installed software
Same happened when I updated 1.0 to 1.0.1
Isn't it supposed to overwrite the previous installations?
How many Firefox's do you really need.
mine lists them all in add/remove programs too. ;)Quote:

thanks
fixed it
..disabled all extensions, closed firefox
opened firefox, enabled all extensions
that did the trick

i noticed somthing...
that firefox doesn't allow sounds to be played thru it
for example
www.yourethemannowdog.com
i shit myself when i saw this but i saw it on a computer at school and they use IE...
i went to shit myself again and no sound :(.... is there an extention that alows sound to be played thru firefox?
If you update Firefox on top of an old version, the new one will be installed but in the add/remove the old one also is listed. You can remove the listing of the old one. If you don't want listing of 2 versions, you'll have to do a clean uninstall and after that, install the version you would like to use.
This issue is known (read it somwehre on the Mozilla pages).
