But what they gonna do, arrest every tom dick and harry who downloads something? I cant see it making any difference if its illegal or not, people will still do it, and come up with other ways of exploiting any system that they come up with.

No such legislation has been passed yet...it is perfectly legal to download...the CRIA is attempting to persuade the Canadian Government to make it illegal but no time frame has been set a side as of yet...any news you hear about a bill being passed or a set deadline when it will become illegal is totally false at this time :cool:
Unless you're actually backing-up music that you already have... :dry: , it's already illegal. :unsure:
