Cut the wires either side of the ignition.

Join them together, the easiest way is a strightened paperclip pushed into the middle of the wire, which then makes the connection.

It also saves having to wrap the wires together.

Some cars you can just knock the black cap off the back of the barrel and turn it with a screwdriver, but you have to break the steering lock off.:formermechanicnotacarthief:

They need them so they don`t have to keep making big movements on the steering wheel when they drive down the road. :lol:
