got it running at what the game autoset to.... mostly medium, for Machine and Graphics.... the only thing I changed is the resolution to 1024*768 but I have tried it at 800*600 and 640*480 and it still does it

What a great little game,very atmospheric,fairly intelligant AI,it's give me the creeps a few times,definitly worth the hassle of getting it to run :01:

Would it run well on a AMD3400, Gig ram, GF6800 Ultra on 1024X768 no A/A or A/F?

Also, how do I hide a virtual drive? Far Cry usually gives me problems saying that it's detected one.

i think fear would run just fine on your system. with no aa/af youd probably pick up 10fps(if not more)

edit: The NODVD crack works perfect with the AlcoholClone. I tried it out a few minutes ago. :)

EDIT: nvm, looks like it does automatically. i'm downing quake with utorrent, and while i'm playing fear, the download doesn't start. as soon as i exit, it starts. wtf???

You using Azureus? I switched to BitComet because of this - as soon as you start a game (SP or MP) all downloading stops.

Maybe it has something to do with Azureus needing Java - I never really figured it out, but using BitComet solved it for me.

Wow this game was awsome the gameplay and graphics. But what I think they could of done a whole lot better, like say you go into a pitch black room, you turn your flash light on and a ghost just stares at you and disapears. The girls just walking in the background in some rooms wasn't scary. The ending was so bad you won't even get to know why the little girl is scaring you throughout the game. It just shows that there is FOR SURE going to be a F.E.A.R 2. I expected a good ending with this game since I waited so long for it. It's going to disapoint everyone. I think they should of added outdoors like the ending it would of been awsome. They should of improved on the AI when you put a mine on the ground they just look and walk on it. If anyone has played the Demo at the very end when the robot jumps through the roof, they didn't add that to the actual game which pissed me off because they didn't add it.

I thought EMPOiO were the good guys. I know a group stole their release when CS first came out a while back.

Just beat it today. The ending was pretty cool and if u sit through all the credits u can hear the senator talking on the phone like in the beggining of F.E.A.R.

The ending was really good it just kept you wanting more which tells me there is probably going to be a sequal. Story wise it is much better than Q4 but I don't know about mp. Quake was made to be multiplayer where FEAR had most of the time put into making the Single Player.

Mount ur game with alcohol then install the game then get the crack from somewhere :rolleyes: and set ur crack in the game directory then run the game.

Ok open Alcohol 120%, then right click ur virtual drive and click mount image file... then choose ur .iso or .cue or whatever image file u have. Then the game should autoplay and take you into the install screen and then click install game. I can't tell you where to get a crack from on this forum because it is not allowed but I can PM u with some details. If that isn't simple enough then I don't know what is. Hopefully you know what a virtual drive is.
