I think the thread is more about sad songs, as in depressing or emotional. Not sad attempts at creating a good song. :ermm:

I don't remember that happening even though I can be close to crying just like you say and it's hard remembering any of them at the time. But yeah since you mention it Amanda Jensen (Swedish Idol) made a cover of Hallelujah which had an incredible feeling that made me shiver.

I don't cry over songs

Well, usually you don't because of a song by itself. Rather, you cry because the song touches a sensitive part in you. For example, I don't cry over songs either, but there is a song that I remember from my childhood that I love, and it has almost brought me to tears many times when I hear it.
