Merkin roads are all straight and completely sans roundabouts so it makes sense that merkin cars have no gears.

They simply don't need them.

I guess I don't, the photo isn't that good.

It looks to me as if the back bit isn't quite long enough and the headlights don't go far enough back. I know next to feck all about cars but we had one when I was about ten or eleven and clocker's car reminds me of the shape.

I honestly had no idea.

So, why did you think I was rodding by saying that I knew it wasn't but it looks like an XJS and that it looks nice.

Since it does look nice and it does look like an XJS but it isn't.

It looks fuck all like a 1971 XJS, it looks like a 1979 XJS. However clocker said it was 35 years of oldness.

A really nice looking car, but not very well made.

So, in essence, given the age, it is not an XJS. It does however look like a later model.

Hope that clears matters up.
