Why on Earth do you guys still...

I thought kazaa esp kazalite were long gone ....guess not ...think i'll give it a look again..

Exactly what i was thinking, i thought it died a long time ago.

Too many fakes and virus infected files for my liking but in all honesty i've got some stuff on disc that i got from it back when i used it that i've never seen since, so it was ( is? :blink: ) good for obscure stuff.

KAZZA or Kazza Media Desktop is huge if you like unstable spyware and adware on every inch of your computer... (no spyware my backside)

wont touch it with a pole!

Klite was good, no longer developed but still used by some and was the best adware, spyware free P2P ever IMO! bit outdated for my use today.

Wow, I didn't know that Kazaa was still runnning, man it's been a long time since I used that stuff. Think I stopped around the same time I joined this site. I use irc for my things.

Kazaa is the only one my Commodore 64 will run

i never used kazza and probably never will -_- only network like that i use is gnutella (sp?)

because the quickly download of songs

kazaa was good at one time 5 to 6 yrs ago but i stopped when the frequency of viruses and worms were abound and also partial shares drove me nuts too

if you really need this kid of network use gnutella network.. its far better. but im still asking myself why on earth do you guys still use kazaa and limewire :)

kazaa is so bad... file quality is terrible... this is what kills the scene

Kazaa was the first thing I used back in the day. Within a week the computer was in the shop with over 500 viruses. I still laugh at the fact.

There is a thread here somewhere, where Jetje mentions that kazza is faster than bittorrent...I think it's about 5 years old though.... :) Who cares..if it wasn't for Kazaa then no one would have been able to post in this thread in the first place....

theres a different torrent site for pretty much anything your into nowadays .... i dont see a need for kazaa anymore .... unless you wanna test your new antivirus ....

War Napster, that was where it began for me, then Kazaa, then Limewire then Usenet. Now BT:w00t:

i use kazaa for quick mp3 search and retrieve - faster than crawl 3 or 4 trackers searching for each song...
