mr_tiki,you need to run winrar and open the grand theft auto vice city folder you downloaded to and then highlight cd1 and cd2 and extract into a folder of your choosing.

You then burn the two cue files to cds or you could use something like alcohol 120% and mount the cue files to start installation of the game.

Hey would it work on my pc? I have a p4 1.7ghz, 512mb, 80gb, 32mb tnt2. Would it work and how big is the file?

Where is the kazaa link ,what the hell this aint the bitorrent light board.

The link is in verified hashes, and there's no harm in giving people a heads up on where to find it first. In fact, it should help it spread quicker on Kazaa.

so all i have to do is burn bin and cue file together as a video cd using nero and use the nocd patch to make it work?

I think what u do is when u finish the download, u open like cd1 and right clcik on a file and put open with winrar and inside u should see a bin and a cue, if u do, extract the file to a folder, do the same with cd2, then go to nero and burn the cue, by selecting burn cd using image or something like that and then find the cue and click burn.

hmmmmmmmmm seems fair when im done ill try that but if there's another way plz tell us.

HELP! I downloaded from the suprnova.org CD1 and CD2 torrents, except there was no bin's or cue's and the ones I downloaded from KaZaA mustve been for a different set of files or something, what do I do

You prolly have to extract a file or something that is in a folder.

this game is reeeeeeeeeeeeeallyyy coool took me a while to install it but it is wicked

man the installation process must be hard so if any one that downloaded the file can tell us how to install it would be very helpful and plz tell us where u got it from with the installation process so that way ppl know wat to do with each file.

Well, I said u have to go to the cd 1 folder, open a few files wit the winrar and see wats inside, if you see inside there a bin and cue, then extract that file(the one u opened). It will usually be the second or first one, then once the file is extracted burn the cue with nero.

Ok... i downloaded vc from the third torrent link on the original post - and it gives me just a cd1 file - after some chatting on an irc forum i find i need cd2 as well :S ...just a warning for those of u downloading - u might need to go to www.suprnova.org to find the cd2 file.

Oh, I'm geting the one fromt he 4th link on the original page. The 1479.2mb one that is, what if my dad turns off the pc withough putting cancel on bit torrent is than messin up the download, will I have to restart it from 0%? Its currently 18% at 28kb/s. How do u know what connection u have?

Are you even downloading it? I think you should. I mean I told u how to install it and how to burn it on a cd. Mine is 23% now.

actaully im on 1mbps line and to put it in shorter terms this is slightley faster than dsl and i still have a bandwith limit for the month its 5gb upload and 5gb download combined 10gbs.

the cd is like 700+ mbs each... imma have to overburn a cd.... but one is like 790ish or 780ish mb... woh imma have to overburn 100mbs!

No you dont, most of the stuff on the cd is directions on how to burn it. Just use nero, I burned devastation and it was 760mb.

this is going slow, i only got 13% at a speed of 10 KB/s.
what are the speeds you guys get? i picked the torrent from the second post (1480.2 MB)

Nope, just select the directory ur downloading the torrent to, and it should start back from where it left off :)

Runs awsome on my comp. and for those complaining about torretts not being open mine has been open for two day's now and uploading 50-60 kps. Thanks again to the people at fairlight!!! :beerchug:
