That guy from stuck mojo and sickspeed since he turned me to drumming, very simple stuff but it fits very well in my opinion. He's not the best by far but he's my favorite one.
It's PEART, BTW, and yes, he IS amazing.Quote:

Don't mind me-my proclivity for fixing spelling errors makes me a bit of a pain.
Your point remains: Peart is amazing! B)
I also like Tim "Herb" Alexander, the old Primus drummer.
And of course Terry Bozzio. Known for his work with Frank Zappa.
Dave Grohl

I personally admire Def Leppard's Rick Allen, not only for his prowess on the skins but for re-inventing his style/technique after the accident in which he lost his ARM!
Mike Portnoy from Dream Theater !
No doubt what so ever... the best in the world!
He's one hell of a good drummer indeedQuote:

mich - The Berzerker
i just skimmed through this topic, so correct me if i'm wrong... but how could nobody have mentioned TRAVIS BARKER!
the man is the greatest drummer ever... he played in lots of bands (including blink 182 *shudder*{mainstream punk *shudder*}) but he pulls off the most insane beats and fills!
i try to do his stuff... but its near impossible
well the fact is that scott *former drummer of Blink 182* would wipe the floor with travis barkers hair...And You wouldn't call Scott one of the greatest drummers in the world...I really like Raymond from Fear Factory, Lars from Metallica and Joey from Slipknot...i think if you can't play what travis barker plays then you should try and drum along to britney spears :o
do you drum? just try some of his fillsQuote:
