i like x264 for how it looks ...
i dont like it, cause they have very few seeds ...
a plus are the non scene stuff ...
they are not like back in the days ... :(

its just getting back on its feet at the moment, give it a couple of months to get back up to 7000 users and itll be great, dont really see how you can say how they have very few seeds tho:

Anyone know what happened to goem?

Was trying to take advantage of the free dl period on Monday,
when all of a sudden, the site seemed to go down. Tracker still seemed to work, but that no longer seems to be the case.

Would love to check out x264...

I was wrong - GOEM is not down, nor was it ever.
I think my ISP has blocked my access to GOEM.

my computer has lots of trouble running x264 at 720p. Maybe if it was used with smaller resolutions.

What program are you using to play it? Best and easiest on the processor is Media Player Classic with CoreAVC
