No, he's still the best player in the World.
It's just that he's actually got competition now.
I don't really follow t'arras but Barney looks quite old and he'd only won the BDC a few times before this year -- suggesting he had quite a lot of competition in that tournament and frequently got beaten in it.
He's now won the PDC, that was previously totally dominated by Phil Taylor, at his first attempt.
I think maybe the perceived gulf in class between the two dartist bodies is not such a chasm after all.
I might be wrong tho' cos, as I mentioned, I don't follow the darts much. Really enjoyed watching the final last night tho' - I thought it quite the sporting spectactular.
