utorrent is the best ever 4 me.
I've been using Azureus for over a year now.....hackers can easily hack through it though unless you have worthy anti-spyware to block them with......thats why I haven't been able to download any torrents for a while since damn Norton decided to expire......
almost everyone on this board is obsessed with uTorrent.....is it really that much better that Azureus?......which ones faster?......
I prefer uTorrent. Simply and faster..
utorrent is fine man, az is a resource hog.
I prefer azureus, 'cause it has many features.
utorrent - small weight, high speed ;)
This application has everything that I need in bt client.
I preffer uTorrent
last time i used azureus i had to install JVM on my pc and the entire thing took too much resources
uTorrent is not java based and takes nearly no resources + it has lots of features
I use Utorrent as it uses less ram
Azureus all the way. It disappoints me that the ratio is slowly slipping in favour of uTorrent.
Utorrent has higher grade since luanching the WebUI application .
Azuereus also good.
I preffer uTorrent then bitcommet
I'll try and state as many facts about each as I can. Keep in mind, though, that being on a rather low-end laptop I am forced to stick with utorrent, although i did start out with azureus 1)utorrent uses less ram. i once had 100 active torrents and i only used 20mb ram and just as much cpu as utorrent always uses when i use all my bandwidth. azureus uses java, which basically takes over your computer. 2)utorrent is more easy to configure/setup and get going. with azureus, there are just so many options everywhere it can drown a noob (it frustrated me, that's for sure) 3)on the positive side, however, if you are want to get into deep configuration settings, azureus it your man. 4)most people who are open-source supporters will use azureus instead because it is open source, and utorrent isnt. 5)both utorrent and azureus have been tested to be equally fast. azureus just uses more ram :? 6)azureus does have plugins, unlike utorrent, including the popular plugin that blocks ip addresses that can block anti-p2p organizations and the govt. on the other side of the coin, however you can use the ever-growing peerguardian with utorrent and block up to 20 different lists. peerguardian's anti-p2p list always gets updated personally, i'd choose utorrent simple because whatever azureus can do, utorrent (or a utorrent and peerguardian combo) can do just a good - but using less ram. utorrent is just clean, simple, and hot.Code:sorry for not spacing out my post, but i am new here and for some reason i can't make paragraphs. :/
in my opinon utorrent is better in almost very way. the only better thing with azureus are all the plugins available. but the best torrent client have to be bittornado, easy to use and fast.
I use uTorrent - he has all what I need
I have been using utorrent for more than 6 months now and belive it's the best.
like all the ppl utorrent no doubt!!
i feel utorrent is nice..but azureus has a new version up..havent used it yet..hows it?
I used to use Azureus, but it consumed a lot of resources. Now i use uTorrent and I am very happy with it.
i like more utorrent used azureus dont like it
I preffer uTorrent
use both but prefer utorrent
I am a recent converter to utorrent.
µTorrent is the only one I use.
It's not much of a choice for those of us who don't run Windows.
Azureus sees heavy use on my Linux media center box.
Azureus + ScaneRSS to autodownload new TV episodes + AutoSpeed to keep my bandwidth from being too saturate to websurf (or use my voip phone) + SafePeer for rogue IP blocking + console UI for command line access + HTML web UI for remove web-based access.
That combined with a tunneling proxy from my colo'd webserver and I can remotely monitor and control Azureus from work or on vacation.
And who can't love that?
I've used both and prefer utorrent. It is NOT a resource hog and download speed seems faster on my FiOS
I've only used utorrent myself, but I've assisted other friends who have used Azureus. Nearly every last one of them converted over to utorrent after seeing how it ran on my computer. It's simple, easy, doesn't take up much HD space, and doesn't hog all your resources. That last seems to be the overall selling factor.
I was using Azureus but i feel µtorrent is better.
At first i used Azureus, but i changed when a friend told me about utorrent, i tried and become a fan.
Azureus 2.5.0.4
uTorrent has everything that I need.
I preffer uTorrent
tnx bor
uTorrent
matter of preference I guess....I've used both but stuck with Azureus mainly
μTorrent for me. It's lightweight, has all the features I need and gets the job done :)
