And a big ass space ship, with a really cool space captain, and a big ass transforming mecha car thing.
plus it was by tim minear so it had both a dark side and a touching side to it with a sense of a great impossible evil controlling everything behind the scenes and it had the hope that one day this evil would be overthrown or defeated in some way - as seems to be the theme with all his shows
