Trouble is though that probably at least half of those who get in will try trading their account anyway once all the invites are gone....and some of those with invites will simply create dupe accounts to trade.

Accounts are pruned all the time ... There\'s a risk that some time in the future they\'ll decide there\'s too many invites out there and remove them all again.

it happened before, and the invites were all removed
im told they wont be this time, but that still makes being invited useless
the invite expires after a couple of days also

That is why I gave my invites away quickly knowing the site would get a surge of new user accounts and fill up. I can see them pulling the invites soon with that many new members in unconfirmed status. They may be able to prune allot of accounts, but not enough to fullfill all the invites sent out.

Yea thats always fun. I remember waiting 2 or 3 hours to get into FTN back in the day.
Ive given away one invite, but Im going to risk sitting on my other one I think.

The 250 waiting to get in might be something to think about before trading for an invite as well. For those that are looking for access to ScT, I would not risk trading for an invite that will expire before you can even get confirmed.
