I've met several miner tv celebs , many british/europeon championship surfers, supplied the materials for Iron Maiden 'Eddie'! :D
But the best one was meeting 'David Prowse' aka Darth Vader when he came to my school as the Green Cross Code man B)
Jonno B)
Nah! Britney is'nt that famous to me cos we've known each other for years and we had a thang going, so I can't count that :D

oh yeah i met Georgy best once at a Northern Ireland football training session.......hes one cool guy......but i hope the yellow tint on his skin goes away!
Stan Lee. No wait, that was a scene from Mallrats.
Would probably have to be Tony Benn, the former MP. I used to get free 1st class travel on the trains when I was at University, and I shared a table with him down to London. He was there in his suit and tie, and I was wearing ripped jeans, knackered army boots and a tatty old T shirt.
He thought it was funny as hell. Top man! :D
my sister apparently saw beppe, or billy from eastenders at the freeport.
ian clayton lives near me, first person to say who he is gets a "foxes chocolate rocky" :)
I shook hands with Mickey Mouse in Disney World!

More interestingly, when my girlfriend studied art at Liverpool, she was sitting near some Cathedral painting it and who should walk up to her but Paul McCartney.
He had a converation with her about what she was doing and took her name.
A few weeks later she got a call from one of his pr people and they were asking what kind of money she wanted for four paintings. She charged two grand and the cheque was there within the week.

Neil, well shes 32 now so it was about 10 or 12 years ago.
It was during the time he was doing that Liverpool Ortorio thing.
He was oversseing a lot of that apparently.
@Bill I think I remember that episode of Challenge Aneka.
She went into some wee ice-cream shop and the guy behind the counter asked her if she wanted a poke (for people not from Ireland, a poke is an ice-cream here).
Man, she nearly ran out of the shop until someone explained it to her.
Oh yes i vague recollection of the headlines in the liverpool echo,
[SIZE=7]mc is back
[SIZE=1]liverpools favourite son, sir paul mccartney was back home this week to pay tribute to his hometown with the premier of his first full length classical masterpiece at the grand old anglican cathedral. sir paul said "i thought it was only fitting that the setting for this premier should be liverpool. It feels good to give something back to the city, and this is my gift to the people of liverpool. i'm only sorry that none of them will be allowed to attend as all the seats will be filled with A list celebs and civil dignitaries"
god i hate the way the echo kisses his arse.
neil1967=bitter skint left handed bass player from liverpool.
