I finally signed up for tvtorrents last week to give it a try. the horrible layout made it difficult to use. looks like a kid designed the site, making it almost unusable. I decided to look past that last night and was going to upload the 4400 and curb your enthusiasm to gain some 'credits'. well, for the two hours that I tried to access the site, it was offline. that's not very dependable on a tv heavy night like sunday, and the simspsons, etc... haven't even started yet.
I voted for bitmetv.
TvT dont have much stuff with ac3,sianzzz...
BitMeTV all the way!

I have both and only use BitMeTV, I can't get past the crappy TvT layout...
Well Of course Bitmetv Is better,the problem with tvt is that its pretty difficult to recognize the dvdrips from the tvrips,but i think that tvtorrents.ro is great packs wise but i wish there were more seeders and higher speeds over there then it would be kick ass.

Funny how people trash the layout on TvT - its one of the most unique. Anyone can just load up some template and run a tracker.. add a few mods .. easy as pie.. Try doing something different..
One of the best features of TvT are the show pages. No other site I'm aware of has something like that. Torrents are ordered according to season.. people can leave comments on the show, you can look at the schedule of upcoming episodes. It is not just a tracker, it is a Source for TV information!

Don't forget though, Bitmetv will have a couple of hundred people logged on (maybe 400-500 ).. TVT will have sometimes up and over 2000 people.
Right now in comparison - Bitmetv has 114 people online according to their home page, and TVT has 1348.

tvt.ro is pretty decent. All the popular shows
lots of huge, quality packs - good ratio builders cuz they are all free.

both sites are excellent, but i try to download from tvtorrents instead of bitmetv whenever i can. im quite happy with tvtorrents user interface and credit system too.

lol, an admin from tvtorrents.ro jsut got banned from bitemtv for cheating his ratio. They watched him DL over 100GB of bitmetv packs since September 1st and report less than 20GB of the actual DL stats to the tracker...Quote:

TvT doesn't seem to have awesome times from what I have seen, but it's incredibly easy to seed which I like. Download speeds are better than most other sites (don't have bitemetv so can't compare to that). The layout is great. I have a love/hate relationship with the fact they don't follow the rar'ing of the files like other sites. When I download a popular tv show I try and seed it on the 2 or 3 other trackers I use. Easy way to boost the ratios. With TvT you can't do that. You can download from somewhere else and seed it on TvT once it's unpacked. Mainly I don't use TvT for current releases. Just for full seasons and past seasons. Can't be beaten in that aspect.
If you look at times at TvT it will be as +/- few minutes comparing to BMTV or other popular site.
That's what stand as uplaod time on the site.
Just don't know how is accurate.
For Prison Break 3x01 I know that is uplaoded few minutes later than on BMTV, because I'm just been curious and checked out both sites frequently in that particular time.
As for previous season, as I can remember, TvT was been faster for some episodes, and for some doesn't.
Someone give me BitMeTV so I can offer my opinion :D.

Your a member of all those high level trackers and you can't convince someone to hook you up with BMTV.
BitmeTv have a more releases and speed uploades is better. :-)
Ive tried TvTorrents, but its nothing compared to BitMeTV. People choosing the first would be the ones without BMTV access or not able to keep up ratiowise or rule (CHEATING OHOY) wise.
BMTV has better speeds, better content, better layout. The show pages are decent, but its still slow and unreliable.
Bitmetv is obviously better - it has better packs, community, quicker pretimes, layout, and definately speeds. Like the user above said, the people who vote for TVTorrents will be the ones who dont have access to Bitmetv or cant keep up with it :)
I wouldnt say BitmeTV has better community :S, never had a problem with it but it seemed a very big problem for me when I had BitmeTV, I could give almost noone an invite, everyone would misuse it and the staff give nothing to help good old non-cheater users, not a free-leech not a special way to give some credit no way to UL anything... thats jst so ashaming
I was a VIP there and still didnt like it, I gave the acc away and Im so good with my goo-old TVT right now. I maybe am getting stuff 1 min l8r cuz of the a-bit-minor speed, but im not that fanatic.

the price you pay for faster download speeds from BMTV is more difficult seeding. seeding to BMTV is a pain in the bum. i prefer slower download speeds if its much easier to seed back, and seeding at TVT is easy.
i always choose to download from tvtorrents.com instead of BMTV when i have the choice.
Yeah that is something TvTorrents is doing differently. For every one of your uploaded torrents you receive a small percentage bonus of the total traffic the tracker registers. This way, your uploads can positively change your credits balance and you are rewarded for helping the community out.
i rahter TVT coz it's easier to keep a good ratio:yup:
i find it easier to seed on Bitmetv, just snatch all the hot torrents (you hae to keep checking) once you do just seed about 4-5 torrents at a time and your ratio will go way up.:)Quote:

JUST got TVT a week ago, and so far they havent let me upload anything, and they're missing several things that I want, that i know bitme has. I dont have a bitme account anymore, but ill tell you I wish i did. BitMe is definitely better, so far anyways.
i have tvtorrent.ro and tvtorrents.com bitmetv have more torrents, but is more difficult to find so i use tvt.ro and .com

Have TvT and its layout IS a pain..but content-wise they have what I've looked for.. never been on BitMe...
