The difference between house, progressive and trance is massive - but also small if you get my drift. Even within trance their are so many sub genres you could spend ages listing them all... but I won't ;)
DJ's come and go, their music style will change and reinvent themselves. What you call trance today was called rave music 15 years ago. It changes with the times.
I suspect many people won't know the difference...nor do they care. After all it's dance music to them and that's what is all that matters

i love electronic music especially goa trance and TT is the best place to find it
