Yea, initial members are gonna get a bunch of invites. I don't think you'll find it difficult to get in around launch.
I personally think the whole "screenshot of your oink account" thing is stupid, a lot of people with great ratios who had accounts for the longest time get screwed over because they don't have a screenshot. Really bad move on waffles.fm's part if you ask me.
whoopdedoo, that's something you can say if you can't get in.
My impression is that the original 2,000 users will be given plenty of invites. I highly doubt it'll be hard to get in provided you know ANYBODY.
I'm all for these new sites. It definitely makes it harder for the RIAA and their friends to score a knockout like they did with OiNK.

Actually, it depends where you live because on the IRC, a mod said that the counter is just counting to Oct.31 Midnight from where YOU actually live. The timer is off by me for about 3 hours or so.
mine is off by about 1 hour est. and you have to factor in that it is counting gmt

I mean OiNK took a year or two, to get to where it was...although a lot of users are looking for an alternative site to OiNK, its going to take a lot more time, dedication and effort than simply asking for more ex-oink members..

They have said multiple times that they won't be inviting people unless they have proof that they have scene axx, large libraries of flac/v0 to upload and seedboxes.
If you can identify yourself as a power user you also might get in.
This will however be a hundred times better than what.cd (which is a poor copy of OiNK).
