Never tried that. Presumably high protein, low fat and cholesterol.

Nicest quite warm though - and with some veg and potatoes of ones choice too. Quite dark meat for a fowl like.

Re: what is your favorite steak
Steak is for your broken eyes and nothing else.
I've got a half a cow in my fridge for just such occasions.
I'm about to beat the family to death with it.
I'm having an ironic Christmas.

Re: what is your favorite steak
when i was younger i would watch my dad eat a WHOLE steak (including the fat). at the time the concept of eating the fatty parts grossed me out but now that im older i think that if a steak is too lean it loses all of its flavor.
i recently tried kobe beef and OMG....best fucking cut of meat i have ever had. it was very rich and buttery and very fatty and and and and just OMG. it made me wet my panties :)

Re: what is your favorite steak
Well, I sear it a tad for politeness. Tartare is very nice.

Re: what is your favorite steak
Do you think these people know what a T-Bone and Porterhouse actually are.

my kind of girl. if you're cooking it outdoors in a bbq pit, try basting it with olive oil as it's cooking. works great and the extra smoke from the olive oil just adds to the flavor.
-
Re: what is your favorite steak
^ Thanks. I always marinade steaks with spices and olive oil in advance of cooking. The oil helps to sear it quickly, as well as hold the spices on.
Yummy.....

Given the popularity of "fillets", no.
