Dd you seed in puclic trackers?

naw, I stopped seeding back at demonoid about a month before it closed down, since im from canada where my proxy blocked dl/upls, and I just started to hate that site anyways. and I never seed over the pirate bay back when I used it... Usually just downloading the file seeded up to over 1, but if not, then I always stopped the torrent whenever I next checked on my torrents, because I don't really like public trackers

however I'm stuck with fucking 12kb/s upload until I (hopefully) move into residence that has high speed internet, so that's even more why I don't care to seed back when its not 1:1 by the time i finish

Public trackers kind of suck, but I'm not above downloading the occasional crap from them when I don't feel like taking the ratio hit. :P

I am always trying to seed till reaching 1,0 ratio on a single torrent.

I seed over 1.0 on public trackers to help out others.

Don't do public trackers anymore, but when I did, I would work to 1.0 then I felt I was free to cancel the torrent anytime

I seed when I see that there are not enough seeders...

I do seed for sometime, but I give preference to the leeches from private trackers.

I try to seed 1 to 1 at least. Especially, if it doesn't have alot of seeds.

If I have to grab something from a public tracker yes I'll seed back at least 1:1 or more as I have a fairly big bandwidth allowance with my isp.... But I always make sure I have PeerGuardian running :) It would be a sin not too :)

but my uplaod speed is gonna be very slow ..will uplaod these one after the other in pirate bay

I don't download form public trackers... But I do seed on them to make releases every now and then.

I only use public sites when completely necessary, I try to stay away from them as much as I can.

But when I do, I try to seed at least to 1:1 (which is almost in every case possible, since down speed is very low, by the time I finish the download it has seeded more than 1:1 - same scenario as many of you).

i seed to 2.0 or higher. since there's barely any decent seeds on a public tracker, it usually gets to 3.0 before i even notice.

I think having a 1:1 ratio matters no matter if there's a penalty or not...after demonoid closed down i had nowhere else to go..f ppl were selfish enough to not seed then how would anybody get anything?? true now that I've gotten access to some private trackers I'll hardly go to torrentz, mininova, and piratebay, but if I did (e.g. to get some Mega gigapack like Chronological X-Men that would kill my private tracker ratio) I would still seed back - it's the right thing to do imo.

i seed, i limit upload to 20 KB/s tho, enough to seed to 1:1
I still like public trackers, private 0day trackers only upload mainstream stuff (boring).

it's exactly what happens to me. i think i seed a bigger % at public ones than at private's. :wacko:
