Freeleech isn't a license not to share back.;)

What it does is create equality between those with great upload speeds and those without. The key to this working is obviously creating an environment where people actually want to share, FTN has that.

Look at it this way, on larger ratio sites people are forced to share because without ratio they simply wouldn't give back what they've taken. Have a look at the recent poll regarding seeding on public trackers. The ratio system is unfortunately necessary on sites with such members but it creates competition between those with fast connections and those without, a contest that those with slower connections will always lose. FTN removes that pressure and gives everyone a fair shot at keeping their account.

Of course there are other ways to level the playing field too.

Yes this poll has been posted multiple times. My answer is still the same I use ScT more then FTN but that's mainly cause ScT gets more snatches and it seems like a lower percentage of boxes on there.

Why you shouldnt open a thread like this :
1) This topic has been discussed a zillion times before on these forums and has led to much animosity
2) It will only invite more spam
3) Many voters wont have access to both sites and hence are not in a position to make a fair judgement
4) Eventually its a matter of personal opinion more than anything else
Due to the above reasons, such polls are never anywhere close to being conclusive or even provide a faint idea. The only good thing you have done is putting Your mama in the options :D (Free level 12 invite to one who guesses what I voted for :lol: )

Lol i think it depends on what you are looking for...I only have sct as of right now and its a great site for content and fast releases. I hear frn has a great community and since I already have all the ) day content i need i am looking for a better community oriented site

They're both the same as far as content. ScT has better pretimes though so I tend to download there more, however I love FTN a lot more then ScT as a whole site.
