Which Is Better , Warez or Bit torrent?

every now and then i still use a warezsite for very small or older 0day apps. the ones i can't seem to find on a torrent site. i do prefer torrents.

I like warez, just can find all the old !

Actually everything you are saying is incorrect. There is no such thing as Warez files...

Warez was a group that started this scene, their site is Warez.com

Now all the noobs have come along calling everything Warez, to mean pirated software of these sites as you call them Warez sites, in reality, there is no such thing...

Torrents, RS, Megaupload, Usenet, P2P, etc., it's all PIRACY! LOL...

It's all the same crap you just have to dig through it to find what you are looking for, some websites are junk, and a majority of them that sport the name Warez are junk.

I remember when there was hardly a site called something.com warez, or warezsomething.com and Warez.com was the only place to go to...

Now all the noobs seem to think there is Warez, and another side, and there isn't, LOL... ;)

I m using both, but if torrent is new then go ahead but if old it is very difficult to download when no seeder available. but warez you can download it any time

I prefer bit torrent.... Seems some of the warez sites give you so many hoops to jump around before you get want you are trying to download, that it makes it not worth the process.

Bittorrent is my favourite, but i also use warez sites for older stuff.

As of lately, Warez(RS forums). There are sites that contain all the content you need, excellent speeds, great security, and best of all...no seeding.

I'm basically using bittorrent right now only when I have to. I'm kind of trying to get away from the whole private tracker thing.

I believe it depend on what you need...but as they say why not use both. Warez for old stuff torrents for brand new

for me torrent is better

I think both have the benefits, so i like and use both. (btw, id rather use very well secured ftps ;) )

Depends, Warez when I have premium accounts on file-hosts plus I only download from topics with good feedback plus Warez is great since there is no ratio keeping =]

But, when I have no premium account I'll stick to my bittorrent.

I tend to prefer torrents simply because warez usually have more viruses as they downloads. Also, you can always see how many seeders and leechers are on a torrent, which gives you an indication about how successful the torrent is.

LOL, no that's not how it happened.

By the way, Aeyen, the word "warez" can refer to any pirated content, not just "warez sites." It also refers to torrents.

After three copyright infringement notices & never getting in with a good private tracker, message boards with RS links is the way to go for me. Downloads are MUCH faster. No more waiting 11 to 16 hours for a 6 gig torrent.

Edit: I'm not saying that RS is better than torrents. Private trackers are probably better when there are many seeders. Plus they're free! I'm not sure if the speed is better though. The best speeds I've ever seen ranged from a steady 500 kbs to 600 kb/s. I'm just saying that right now, RS is better for Herrick :)

If I'm not wrong... warez stands for anything distributed illegally.... that includes torrent, rapidshare, ftp and all other sources.

torrent is one among those. I prefer torrents than others, coz, itz resumeable and requires much less time and attention, never used usenext and stuffs like that... but, the best filesharing method i know is torrents...

Actually bittorrent, downloading from forums, or using Usenet does not require much time or attention, and all three are resumable. But...out of the three, bittorrent is the method that requires more time and attention.

there both great depends on the user,

I love USENET because there isn`t any ratio system and when I download something from usenet my download speed is 2 times faster than uTorrent max speed.
I love WAREZ too because I can get anything else there what isn`t leaked on bittorrent or usenet.
I love BITTORRENT too (trackers), fast PRE times, can get newest stuff very fast and communities in generel/0day trackers ar great and very helpful.
