i was a long time utorrent user until like a month ago.
once i tried it, i fell in love with so so so many options and tweaking available. Of course this has a price, and it's a much heavier client than utorrent is, but i got fed up of all this 1.7.x bullshit with sites saying "now u can" and "now u can't".
As i use a dedicated computer for my filesharing, i have no problem with azureus resource hunger.

cpu usage is around 3% and mem around 200mb but i dont mind

I use Azureus. utorrent doesn't have all the options that Azureus has.
I have no problem using azureus and playing a game like cod4 at once.

Whats the problem with PeerGuardian and 1.7.7? I am currently using 1.6.1 and PG without a hitch. Of course I am not on a tracker that bans it, so its no problem using the older version.
I was thinking of upgrading though, but if there are problems regarding PG, then I will stay as is.
u don't need peerguardian, if u just use the ipfilter.dat in utorrent.

Me too. The only thing I have noticed about client bans is threads/posts about it and not getting connected to the occasional one seed torrent, because the seeder is using a banned client.Quote:

Many users believe 2.5.0.4 to be the last version with no Vuze code whatsoever on it, when that's actually 2.5.0.0.

but version 2.5.0.4 is the one supported on most trackers

there is also version of rtorrent for windows without the need of cygwin but it's not that stable
