I was in a life threatening car wreck once with a severe head injury where they didnt think I was going to make it, but I was actually out of the hospital in a week! There can be fast turnarounds, so hope for the best!

This is terrible news for him, his family and friends (of whom I'm sure he had quite a few, judging by all of the responses and well-wishes here). :(
It puts everything into context a little, for me anyway. No matter how much we achieve in life, no matter how much effort we put into our lives, and the lives of those around us; it can all be threatened in a split second.
Brandon, I have never talked to you or encountered you, but I have heard of you. You are a well respected person in the filesharing world, highly regarded by those who know you and you have a huge following. I'm sure this is even more true for those who know you in real life, as you seem like a very caring person and you apply yourself 100% in everything you do.
Here's hoping that you will make a full recovery, and I believe you will. There is a lot of good, positive energy being sent your way by all of us here, and everyone who knows you, in the form of prayers, etc. A lot can be said for this, it is often underestimated and sometimes mocked, but when faith is put into something, things can be willed to change.

All my prayers go to him, it's always so sad to hear these kind of things about someone you "know", even if only in the internet.
car crashes already took half of my family too, brother included, and i know how terrible it is for everyone else around him.
for the report of the situation, i think we all will feel relieved if one day he will just be able to come to this thread and say hello, i'm still alive.
Last night i also saw 2 car crashes on my way home around 5am, plus cops everywhere, it always causes me a chill in the spine.
